Gregory Page (viola)

Gregory was born in London, England, where he began his musical education in piano at the age of five, shortly followed by viola. He studied both instruments at the Purcell school for young musicians from the ages of 10 to 17, before changing focus to embark on a career in scientific and mathematical research.

Gregory obtained his Masters degree in Physics at the university of Bristol, where he also played a very active role in the local musical community. He played viola in the university baroque ensemble and with the university chamber orchestra, with whom he often toured abroad, as well as spending a year with a local choir.

Gregory currently lives in Paris, France, where he is working towards his PhD in Theoretical Physics, while in the meantime playing with the Paris inter-university symphony orchestra and engaging in many musical events around the continent.
