The International Chamber Music Courses and Festival (ICMC) is proud and excited to announce its summer 2010 program.
ICMC Positano was established in 1998 in Positano, Italy by the Chinese-American Pianist Eileen Huang. The ICMC has been extended to ICMC Shanghai,China since 2007.
The great metropolis of Shanghai is currently undergoing one of the fastest economic expansions that the world has ever seen. While shops overflow and the skyline fills with skyscrapers, Shanghai now seems certain to recapture its position as East Asias leading business city and one of the worlds great cities. It is exciting for Shanahai to be hosting 2010 World Exhibition.
As for the ICMC Positano, ICMC Shanghai is for all ages. There are various classes for students of Piano, Violin,Viola, cello, wind instruments and Vocal, plus art courses from life are also included.
ICMC Shanghai features daily master classes, ensembles, individual lessons and are conducted by international distinguished musicians at the Shanghai Conservatory ( or Shanghai Conservatory High School) where practice facilities are available. There are public performances for both solo and chamber groups.
Everyday will begin with Taichi Quan (traditional Chinese exercise). Lunch and Dinner will be at different restaurants so that participants may experience the variant unique Chinese cuisine. Evenings will be devoted to concerts, to see Chinese entertainment performance or simply enjoying the beautiful city of Shanghai.
We also offer sightseeing tours including a Shanghai city tour to see the Yu Garden, the Shanghai Museum, the Band and taking a magnificent night boat trip on Huang Pu river. And a night attending Chinese entertainment, and a sightseeing tour to a tradition regional village.
It is a good opportunity for young people to build a new bridge of understanding while learning from each other. Our goal is to provide quality musical training, international cultural exchanges and great musical experiences.
How to reach Shanghai
By air: To attend ICMC Shanghai should take a flight to Shanghai Pudong airport.
Please contact ICMC Shanghai to have your arrival information. ICMC worker will be in the airport to welcome our participants.

FEES

Registration Fee = 300 euro
ICMC Fee: participant = 1,100 euro (Registration Fee is not include).
The Fee Includes: 10 days room, three meals/day; sightseeing tours in Shanghai; courses, concerts. (Some museum ticket and tour guild are not include. ICMC bus from and go to Airport for group only ).
Non-participant = 950 euro (Registration Fee is not include).

Rules:
* Registration fee is non- refundable.
*Deadline for ICMC registration fee is May 1, 2010.
After the deadline a late fee of 50 euro will be charged. .
* Deadline for all ICMC fees is May 15, 2010. After the deadline a late fee of 50 euro will be charged. .
